Sophomore QB breaks Brohm's former record

Trinity sophomore quarterback Travis Wright tied the school record for TD passes in a game with seven during Friday's 63-14 win over Seneca. He finished the game 13-of-17 for 198 yards and seven touchdowns.

Trinity is now 6-1 on the season with notable wins over Cincinnati Elder (22-20) and rival Louisville St. Xavier (48-0).

Wright had TD passes of (in chronological order) 8, 11, 17, 29, 58, 19 and 28 yards.

Current Buffalo Bills and former Louisville quarterback Brian Brohm first set the record in 2002 in the 59-56 win over Male in the 2002 state finals, the final Kentucky state finals played at the Fair and Exposition Center.

He also set a new Trinity High School record for TD passes in a half with six.
