Rival schools to play at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium

Trinity High School (11-1) may have a 48-0 win over St. Xavier (10-2) on its 2010 football resume, but the Shamrocks will have to defeat the Tigers again this Friday if they want to win a regional championship and advance in the KHSAA Class 6A state football playoffs.
There is obvious history between these two rival schools, as this will be the fourth straight season that St. X and Trinity have met twice in the same season (once in the regular season; once in the playoffs). St. Xavier defeated Trinity in last year's state championship game in Bowling Green, but the Rocks have won four out of the past five posteseason games between the two.
Both teams also bring long winning streaks into the showdown.
Trinity, who is also ranked No. 9 in the country in the national poll, has won eight straight games, hasn't been defeated since its Sept. 17 loss to Cincinnati St. Xavier (OH), and is unbeaten against in-state foes. St. X has won six consecutive games of its own, and hasn't lost a contest since the team's 48-point loss to Trinity on Oct. 1
Coming into the game, Trinity has beaten its first two playoff opponents (PRP and duPont Manual) by a combined score of 111-13, while the Tigers have had to come from behind in its first two games, defeating Seneca and Ballard by a combined 90-54.
To accommodate the large fan bases that both schools possess, Friday's game will be played at the University of Louisville's Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. Game and ticket information is listed below and comes courtesy of Robert Sampson and Trinity (the home team for Friday's affair).

Tickets will be $10 for general admission seating at the gate and $8 in advance at the respective schools.
Tickets for the Loge seats (St. Xavier side) and Brown and Williamson Club (Trinity side) will be available for $15 each at both schools and at the gate. These do not guarantee a specific reserved seat, but one-time access into the Brown and Williamson Club area or Loge seating area. Once a parton enters this area, they can not go into the general admission area and return to these areas without a new ticket.
Children's tickets will be $5 and are available only at the stadium on game day.
Fans are asked to purchase tickets in advance to avoid lines at the stadium.
Gates will open at approximately 6:30 p.m. This time may be pushed back closer to kickoff for a few minutes until Louisville and West Virginia have concluded their necessary walkthroughs and team activities in the stadium in advance of their noon kickoff on Saturday.
All parking for fans will be $10 (cash only) and patrons will be directed to a parking spot upon their arrival in the order they enter the facility. Fans may not reserve spots as they will be directed to the next additional spot that is available by parking personnel.
