Trinity wide receiver takes on the Questions

Each week, will be getting to know a new student-athlete from the area by asking him/her a series of 20 key questions - some in-depth, some lighthearted - that will provide insight into the thoughts and personalities of the boys and girls who are doing great things on and off the local courts, fields, tracks, and courses. Below are the "20 Key Questions," brought to you by Key Financial Mortgage LLC.

He has over 1,000 yards receiving this season. He's caught 10 touchdowns in nine career playoff games. He even has his own cheer that was created by the Trinity student section.

And he's only a sophomore.

Shamrocks wide receiver James Quick has certainly made a name for himself during his first two years wearing green and white, and his play in 2010 has the Rocks playing Male High School on Saturday for a possible 20th all-time state championship for the Trinity football program.

Quick is, well.....quick. He's athletic, crisp, and has been one of the main catalysts for an explosive Shamrock offense this season. But the end of football season this weekend doesn't mean months of rest and relaxation for the sophomore. Once Saturday's KHSAA Football Gridiron Bowl is completed, Quick will trade in his cleats for a pair of sneakers and join the Trinity basketball team - a squad for which he expects to contribute this season.

Adding track and field to his high school athletic resume, the triple-sport athlete Quick is one of the most exciting student-athletes in the state and will be fun to watch during the next few years. But before he can continue with his busy sports schedule, Quick took time to participate in the most recent edition of "20 Key Questions," and his answers are below.
