Tigers senior named to all-Catholic third team defense

Louisville St. Xavier senior and University of Kentucky commit Daylen Hall played like a champion last season, leading the Tigers to the 2009 Kentucky state football championship. Parlayed with his athletic ability and versatility on the field, Hall is an exceptional football player, and people have certainly taken notice.

Last week, Hall was named to the Catholic High School Football Preseason All-American Team as a cornerback on the third team defense. Hall, who will anchor this year's version of the St. X defense, was a key to his team's state title run last year. As a junior, he had 75 tackles, seven interceptions, and a sack. He also produced on special teams, where he averaged more than 34 yards per punt return, and accounted for seven Tiger touchdowns throughout the season.
