Rocks' Last Second TD Stuns Cincy Elder

Trinity defeats Elder 22-20 with no time remaining

Trinity senior Ryan Steffey caught a two-yard pass from sophomore quarterback Travis Wright with no time remaining to give Trinity a 22-20 win over Elder (Ohio) at Trinity’s Marshall Stadium. 

“It’s a dream,” said Steffey. “It’s unbelievable. I can’t stop smiling.”

Wright completed 29-of-35 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns and running back Derek Bishop rushed for 109 yards to lead the Shamrocks to their first 3-0 start since 2008.

The Shamrocks will host St. Xavier (Ohio) on Sept. 17, 2010 at Trinity’s Marshall Stadium.
