The Bellarmine University lacrosse team has finalized its 2011 schedule, which includes six home and nine road games.  The Knights will again compete in the ECAC Lacrosse league, a 7-team conference including two in the preseason top 20.

Bellarmine's season and home opener comes against the University of Detroit Mercy on Feb. 12 at 1 p.m. in Owsley B. Frazier Stadium. A week after their opener, Bellarmine welcomes Mercer University for another 1 p.m. contest at Frazier Stadium.

The Knights then hit the road for their next five games, including their conference opener against No. 14 Loyola-Maryland on March 5.  Just two days later, Bellarmine will visit the 4th-ranked Maryland Terrapins in College Park, Md.

Bellarmine's lone home contest in March comes on the 16th as the Knights host Virginia Military Institute.  Game time is 4 p.m.  After away contests at Robert Morris and Presbyterian, Bellarmine plays strictly an ECAC schedule for the remainder of the season, beginning April 2 at Fairfield.

The Knights return to Frazier Stadium on April 9 to host the Air Force Academy in a noon contest. Their final road trip of the regular season will be to Hobart College on April 16.

Bellarmine wraps their season with two home conference contests, facing No. 13 Denver on April 23 and finishing the season on April 30 with Ohio State.
