Go Mongo for The Scotty Davenport Show
Coach Davenport and show host Kent Taylor

Dr. Dunkenstein will be the guest this week

Come join the Louisville Catholic Sports Network, Bellarmine head basketball coach Scotty Davenport, and WAVE 3’s Kent Taylor for the taping of the Scotty Davenport Show at 7 p.m. Tuesday night at BD’s Mongolian Grill on Hurstbourne Parkway.

This week "TSDS" welcomes Former University of Louisville Basketball Legend Darrell Griffith. "Dr. Dunkenstein" was the MVP of 1980 NCAA Basketball Championship team under Coach Denny Crum, and was instrumental in bringing UofL its first national championship. You'll definitely want to hear his story and his connection to Coach D and the Bellarmine Knights basketball team. Bellarmine University Cheerleaders will also come to the restaurant to show their Knights Pride.

"Darrell is a TRUE Louisville basketball legend both on and off the court," said Davenport of his feature guest. "He followed us along the way to our national championship and was proud of we accomplished. We're really excited and honored to have him on the show."

Freshman wing player Max Clemons, a PRP graduate, will appear on the show as well. Clemons is off to a great start with the Knights and has been a key supporting member in the early part of the season.

The show, which will begin taping at 7pm on Tuesday, Dec.11 at bd's Mongolian Grill will also include a recap of BU's recent games, as well as a look at future opponents, current Bellarmine basketball happenings, and much more.

Fans and spectators are welcome to arrive at 6 p.m. to create a fresh meal at the grill and then to stick around for "The Scotty Davenport Show" taping at 7:00 p.m.

We would like to thank our presenting sponsors, Norton Sports Health and Yum! Brands Foundation as well as sponsors Park Community Federal Credit Union, The KIA Store, and Masters' Supply, Inc. for making the show possible.

If you can't make it on Tuesday, be sure to tune in on Saturday (Dec. 15) at Noon on WBKI Channel 7 or digital 914 to catch the full broadcast of the show.
