The CSAA Cross Country Championships were held at George Rogers Clark Park late Saturday afternoon.

The fifth- and sixth-grade girls competed in the first of the four races. Abigail Bohn of St. Edward set the pace early and never looked back as she finished her mile in 6:25.29, edging St. Patrick’s Katie Barney by two seconds St. Edward won the fifth- and sixth-grade girls' team title, placing three runners in the top five positions.

The fifth- and sixth-grade boys followed the girls and Josh Meiman of Notre Dame took home the individual title with a mile time of 5:54.98, nearly three seconds ahead of St. Raphael’s Andrew Flynn. Although Meiman came in first place, Notre Dame fell to Holy Trinity in the team standings as Holy Trinity had five runners place in the top 10 to give them the team title with 23 points.

In the eighth-grade girls' race, Kathleen Simms of St. Agnes set the early pace and pulled away for the win. With Simms’ first-place finish, St. Agnes took home the team championship by placing three of its runners in the top four.
