Louisville, Kentucky-July 24, 2013—The Louisville Catholic Sports Network (LCSN) has entered into an agreement with Trinity High School (THS) in which LCSN was awarded the exclusive radio broadcast and marketing rights for the 2013 football season in addition to the 2014 Trinity/St. Xavier regular season basketball game.

Steve Fehder, President of LCSN, said, “We are honored that Trinity has awarded us the opportunity to represent their football program. They have built one of the top programs in the region and are consistently among the top programs in the nation. This is a great partnership and a testament to all of the work that we have done in recent years with our other partners and our dedicated coverage of Catholic sports.”

LCSN will broadcast all of the Trinity football home and away games during the regular season and the playoffs on 970 AM – WGTK, starting with their August 16 scrimmage against Highlands High School.

Trinity High School Athletic Director Dennis Lampley had this to say about the partnership: “Louisville Catholic Sports has demonstrated in a very short amount of time a commitment to quality programming. Their coverage of local Catholic sports is thorough and professional. We are excited about this partnership.”

THS has won 22 State Championships and was named the 2011 National Champion by several media outlets. Trinity football was recently ranked the No. 6 program in the nation over the past ten years by MaxPreps.com. LCSN will also broadcast the 2014 regular season St. Xavier/Trinity game from Freedom Hall. THS won the KHSAA State Basketball championship in 2012.

Prior to this agreement, THS produced, marketed and broadcast football and basketball in-house. The broadcast team of Wayne Kraus, Jason Larch and John King will remain intact.
