Former Trinity football player dies in house fire

Trinity’s Tyler English died in a house fire Friday morning in Bowling Green, Ky. He was a student at Western Kentucky University.

According to the Bowling Green Daily News, firefighters were called at 5:12 a.m. Heavy smoke was coming from the second floor and blew out the second floor windows.  

English, 20, graduated from Trinity in 2012 and was an offensive lineman on the 2011 football team that finished the season 14-0 and was declared national champs by multiple publications.

Originally signed to play football at WKU, English was involved in a serious car accident before the season and he never played for the Hilltoppers.
