DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference named Bellarmine University sophomore forward Kelsey O'Bryan as its Offensive Player of the Week for field hockey Monday.

O'Bryan led Bellarmine in scoring last weekend with five points over two games. On Friday, the Presentation product assisted Aimee Ilgenfritz on the Knights' game-tying goal in the 41st minute of a 3-2 loss to Lindenwood.

O'Bryan followed that with two goals, including the game-winner, in a 4-3 victory over Seton Hill on Saturday. The Louisville native recorded her fourth and fifth goals of the season, each unassisted, as Bellarmine improved to 4-4 on the year. O'Bryan currently leads the Knights in both goals and assists (four).

Lindenwood goalie Victoria Gil was honored as the Defensive Player of the Week after recording 15 saves over the weekend, while teammate Nicole Johnston received Rookie of the Week accolades after scoring the game-winning goal against Bellarmine.
