The Louisville Catholic Sports Network All-Catholic Teams recognize student-athletes who played at the top level during the regular and postseasons within their sport. Players are selected based on nominations and feedback from local coaches and the Louisville Catholic Sports Network staff that covered the teams during the 2014 season.

St. Xavier’s golf team won its first state title since 2009 this past fall after finishing as the state runner-up two years in a row.

Allen Hamilton led the way with a third-place finish, while Mike Sass came in 12th and Matt Liston and Brandon Basham placed 20th.

Trinity also had an impressive season – qualifying for the state tournament for the first time 2007 and finishing fourth overall.

James Inman led the way tying for 12th, while Grant Hummel came in 34th. Zach Mattingly placed 38th.
