Since 1974 the Louisville Orthopaedic Clinic has served the local area for orthopaedic problems and musculosketal issues. The sports medicine program has team physicians for local high schools which provide sports physicals and urgent care for athletes.

On a weekly basis, Louisville Orthopaedic Clinic is proud to sponsor the "20 Questions" that will feature a high school student-athlete in the local Catholic high school community. Current school: Holy Cross High School.

Current Sports playing: Basketball and Softball.

Parish/grade school attended: St. Andrew.

Colleges considering or attending: Huntington University, WKU, Spalding, Transylvania.  

Bio: I am a senior at Holy Cross High School. I have been a member of the basketball and softball teams all four years and have played soccer and field hockey. I am the president of National Honor Society and a member of the Guild Council. My parents are Dave and Cathy Miller. I have an older brother Jeffrey who attends U of L.

1. What is your proudest athletic moment? Scoring 34 points against Central Hardin this season.

2. What is your ideal meal/snack before a game? I don’t eat before games.

3. If you were trying out for American Idol, what would be your "go to" song? My go to song would be “22” by Taylor Swift.

4. Which athlete do you look up to on a college/professional level? Why? Nate Robinson. His motto is “Heart over Height.”

5. What is your favorite movie quote? “You got a dream, you gotta protect it. When people can’t do something themselves, they’re gonna tell you that you can’t do it. You want something, go get it. Period.” –The Pursuit of Happyness

6. How does your faith impact your approach to sports? I believe God has given all of us our talents so I perform on the field and on the court to the best of my ability to show Him how grateful I truly am for my blessings.

7. What is your favorite cartoon character? Blossom from the Powerpuff Girls.

8. All time favorite board game? Candyland.

9. Droid, iPhone, or Blackberry? Favorite app? iPhone, Instagram.

10. What is your favorite local (non chain) restaurant? Frontier Diner.

11. What is your favorite reality TV show? The Bachelor.

12. What is your greatest fear? Lizards.

13. What is your best quality/characteristic? I’m loyal and outgoing.

14. Favorite junk/comfort food? Golden Double Stuf Oreos.

15. What is your favorite hour of the day? Why? When I get home from school so I can nap.

16. What is your nickname and how did you get it? I have a lot of nicknames because of my hair like Red, Ginger, Ginge, Red Barren, etc.

17. Where is your favorite place to volunteer/provide community service? Harbor House of Louisville.

18. What is one hidden talent that you possess? I can play the piano.

19. If time machines were real, and you could choose just one - to travel forward or backward - which would you select and why? I would travel backward so I can do high school over because it really has been the best time of my life.

20. If you could pick one person, dead or alive, and ask them just one question that they had to answer honestly, who would you pick and what would you ask? I would ask Mother Teresa how she kept her faith even through all the ugliness of the world she saw every day.
