The Bellarmine University women's soccer team has achieved its highest national ranking since 2012 as the Knights are rated No. 13 in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America Top 25 poll.

The Knights (12-0-1, 9-0-1 Great Lakes Valley Conference) moved up one spot after notching a pair of 1-0 victories over Wisconsin-Parkside and Lewis last weekend. BU has been ranked in the 13-18 range virtually the entire season.

The Knights rose to No. 13 in September of 2012.

Gannon remained at No. 1 followed by Western Washington, North Georgia, Grand Valley State and Angelo State.

With the victory over the Flyers on Sunday, Bellarmine set a program record by going unbeaten in 13 straight matches, which includes 12 wins and one tie.

Bellarmine's defense continues to lead the nation in goals-against average (0.08). The Knights have amassed 12 shutouts in their 13 matches, including in eight straight contests.

Bellarmine has outscored its opponents 20-1 this season.
