A star-studded group of golfers, baseball players and a swimmer highlighted the fall signing period at St. Xavier Wednesday afternoon.

Dalton Dedas (Lincoln Memorial University)

Dedas is a catcher and helped lead the Tigers to their first state title in 30 years as a sophomore. He took over the catching duties as a sophomore when All-State teammate Austin Clemons suffered a knee injury. Dedas helped lead last year’s pitching staff to allowing just 2.46 runs per game in 39 games.

Adam Elliott (University of Louisville)

Elliott is a left handed pitcher and tossed a perfect game as a junior.

Daniel Fischer (University of Louisville)

Fischer is a right handed pitcher and utility player.

Billy Basham (Eastern Kentucky University)

Basham won the individual regional title this past fall as a senior and helped the Tigers win back-to-back state titles. He was a member of the team as a sophomore that finished as state runner up.

Allen Hamilton (University of Kentucky)

Hamilton won the individual regional title as a junior and helped the Tigers win back-to-back state championships.

Matt Liston (University of Kentucky)

Liston placed fifth at this year’s state tournament and placed second at this year’s regional competition. He helped the Tigers win back-to-back state titles as a junior and senior.

Mike Sass (College of Charleston)

Sass has been a member of the varsity team since he was a freshman, a year in which he won the regional title. Sass capped off his career with a third place finish at the state tournament this past October, his best ever finish. During his four year run, the Tigers as a team finished as runner up twice and state champions twice.

Clayton Forde (University of Georgia)

Forde placed second in the 200 freestyle at last season’s state meet and has helped the Tigers win a team state title in each year he has been at St. X. Forde earned second-team All-State honors last year. He and the rest of the Tigers team will be going after their 28th straight state swimming title in February 2016. Older brother Mitchell is currently swimming at Missouri
