Since 1974 the Louisville Orthopaedic Clinic has served the local area for orthopaedic problems and musculosketal issues. The sports medicine program has team physicians for local high schools which provide sports physicals and urgent care for athletes.

1. What is your proudest athletic moment? Winning state my freshman year and being named co-MVP of the State Tournament.

2. What is your ideal meal/snack before a game? Blue Gatorade and sweetarts.

3. If you were trying out for American Idol, what would be your "go to" song? Carrie Underwood – American Girl.

4. Which athlete do you look up to on a college/professional level? Why? Derek Jeter. His passion for the game is unprecedented and I am amazed at the respect he gives to all and has earned from many. 

5. What is your favorite movie quote? From Field of Dreams – “Build it and they will come.”

6. How does your faith impact your approach to sports? My faith teaches me to believe in myself and my team. It teaches me to respect and appreciate the opportunity I have to play sports with the god given health and talents afforded me.

7. What is your favorite cartoon character? Scooby Doo

8. All-time favorite board game? Chutes and Ladders.

9. Droid, iPhone, or Blackberry? Favorite app? iPhone. Favorite app is Pandora.

10. What is your favorite local restaurant? Sake Blue Japanese

11. What is your favorite reality TV show? Dance Moms – “It’s my way or the highway.”

12. What is your greatest fear? Snakes.

13. What is your best quality/characteristic? Positive attitude with high energy.

14. Favorite junk/comfort food? Ice Cream.

15. What is your favorite hour of the day? Why? Dinner time. It’s that one hour during the busy day that my family and I gather around the table to share how our day went.

16. What is your nickname and how did you get it? I have several that family, friends and coaches have given me over the years. Jayy, JV, JayBird, Vorbs – short for Jordan Vorbrink. Blonde Bomber – My Poppy calls me that because of my hair. Franchise, Sizzle & Nutsy – Different coaches over the years because of my hitting and fielding characteristics. Stix – I am #11 on my travel team

17. Where is your favorite place to volunteer/provide community service? St. Joseph’s Orphanage

18. What is one hidden talent that you possess? I can juggle.

19. If time machines were real, and you could choose just one - to travel forward or backward - which would you select and why? Backward – I would love to go back and be the same age as my mom – “Mrs. Sue”.  We are best friends and I can’t imagine the fun we would have had as teenagers together.

20. If you could pick one person, dead or alive, and ask them just one question that they had to answer honestly, who would you pick and what would you ask? Even though I am not a UK fan, I would ask my Granny who is no longer with us but a huge UK fan what she thought of the Wildcats being undefeated?
