Trinity wrestler Tyler Frankrone added a national title to his list of accomplishments this past weekend.

Frankrone won the 2015 NHSCA Junior National Tournament (182-pound weight class) in Virginia Beach, Va.

He has won the past two KHSAA state titles in the 182-pound weight class as a sophomore and junior.

Next year Frankrone will have a chance to join John Fahy as the only Shamrocks to win at least three state wrestling crowns. Fahy won four straight state titles.

As Frankrone prepares for his senior season, a number of top notch schools have shown interest in the star. Minnesota, Iowa State, Old Dominion and Princeton have contacted him.

LCSN staff writer Conor Revell wrote a feature on Frankrone this past winter. You can read it here.
