1. What is your proudest athletic moment? Placing 2nd at State in Cross Country

2. What is your ideal meal/snack before a game? I eat whatever appeals to me at the moment…nothing in particular

3. If you were trying out for American Idol, what would be your "go to" song? Mr. Brightside – The Killers

4. Which athlete do you look up to on a college/professional level? Why?  I look up to my former teammates of the class of 2014 because they have shown me the value of encouraging words and what you can achieve from merely believing in yourself.

5. What is your favorite movie quote? “Together, even the smallest can achieve the greatest goal.” – A Bug’s Life

6. How does your faith impact your approach to sports? Well, I once sang a church song repetitively in my head before a race once for extra courage and confidence in myself…so I would say that my faith has allowed me to believe in myself and let God handle the things I cannot control.

7. What is your favorite cartoon character? Sebastian

8. All-time favorite board game? Sequence

9. Droid, iPhone, or Blackberry? Favorite app? iPhone – don’t really have one

10. What is your favorite local restaurant? Mike Linnig’s

11. What is your favorite reality TV show? The Biggest Loser

12. What is your greatest fear? The future

13. What is your best quality/characteristic? Resilience

14. Favorite junk/comfort food? Queso

15. What is your favorite hour of the day? Why? Either around 3:00 or 3:30 p.m. because that’s when the team is being goofy before practice starts or around 8 p.m. when I get to sit down and talk with my mom.

16. What is your nickname and how did you get it? My teammates refer to me as Rabbi. It’s a long story and I’m not 100% certain how it came to be.

17. Where is your favorite place to volunteer/provide community service? I really enjoyed my Mission Trip at Solsberry Hill, Indiana this past February. I really enjoyed working with Habitat for Humanity on the trip and want to start volunteering with them here in Louisville.

18. What is one hidden talent that you possess? I can do various flips and such.

19. If time machines were real, and you could choose just one - to travel forward or backward - which would you select and why? I would probably go back in time to The Great Flood to go on Noah’s Ark and kill the two bees on board

20. If you could pick one person, dead or alive, and ask them just one question that they had to answer honestly, who would you pick and what would you ask? I would want to ask Julia Butterfly Hill how she was able to live from a tree for two years.
