Rhodes finishes 19th at Martinsville
Ben Rhodes finished 19th at Martinsville in the Texas Roadhouse 200 Presented by Alpha Energy Solutions

Ben Rhodes started 14th and finished in 19th place in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Texas Roadhouse 200 Presented by Alpha Energy Solutions at the famed Martinsville Speedway Saturday afternoon.

The ThorSport Racing driver had a difficult time getting past competitors throughout the race on the famed 0.562 oval track, the smallest of any of the NASCAR tracks.

Rhodes complained that his No. 41 Toyota Tundra was too tight about midway through the race. The Alpha Energy Solutions truck lost oil pressure on lap 175 and had to pit. Starting at the back of the pack, the Holy Cross alum ran up to P19 at the finish.

Johnny Sauter, who started the race in P5, took home the checkered flag. Pole-sitter Chase Elliott, who led for 109 of the 200 laps, finished second and John Hunter Nemechek, who started outside the top 10, finished third.

Up next for Rhodes and his ThorSport Racing team is a race under the lights in the Longhorn 350 at the Texas Motor Speedway on Friday, Nov. 4 at 8:30 p.m.
