Here’s our weekly look at LCSN football alums that made notable contributions at the Division I-A level this past week. Please email the writer at if somebody has been left off the list.

* Former St. Xavier punter Jake Collins punted three times in Western Kentucky’s heart-crushing 31-30 overtime loss to Vanderbilt. His punts averaged 42-yards per kick and he finished with a 41-yard net per kick.

* Former St. Xavier punter Mason King was called upon just twice in Louisville’s 59-28 win at Marshall Saturday night. King’s two punts totaled 76 yards (38.0 yards per punt) with one being downed inside the 20 yard line.

* Former Trinity wide receiver James Quick led all Louisville receivers in the Cards’ win at Marshall. Quick caught four passes for 98 yards including a 71-yard touchdown strike.

* Former Trinity quarterback and wide receiver Reggie Bonnafon caught two passes for 17 yards for Louisville including a key 4th-and-goal reception that netted a touchdown right before the half. He also had one carry for three yards.

* Former St. Xavier defensive lineman Karl Roesler registered a sack for a five yard loss in his only tackle in Arkansas’ 45-24 loss to Texas A&M.

* Former St. Xavier running back Charles Walker returned one punt for eight yards in Kentucky’s 17-10 home win over South Carolina. The converted wide receiver did not register a catch in the game.
