Friday night stars: POW and Helmet stickers

Every Monday, LCSN Editor Conor Revell is going to pick a Player of the Week that shined on the football field the weekend before. He’ll also issue out helmet stickers to the top performer on the other three teams. If you have suggestions, email your nominations to crevell@catholicsportsnet.com by 9 p.m. Sunday.

Player of the Week

Dominic Allgeier (St. Xavier)

Allgeier ran for 190 yards on 35 carries and two touchdowns in St. X’s 16-7 win over Pleasure Ridge Park in the second round of the Class 6-A Playoffs.

Honorable Mention

Mario Convenuto (Holy Cross)

Convenuto ran for 102 yards and a touchdowns in his final high school game of his career as Holy Cross lost 32-7 to Kentucky Country Day in the second round of the Class A Playoffs.

The DeSales Defense

The Colts were dominant in their 54-0 win over Washington County in the second round of the Class 2-A Playoffs.

Rondale Moore (Trinity)

Moore scored a touchdown in three different ways – catching, throwing, and rushing – in Trinity’s 51-13 win over Campbell County in the second round of the Class 6-A playoffs. He caught four passes for 91 yards as well.
