The Louisville Catholic Sports Network recognizes student-athletes who played at the top level during the regular and postseasons within their sport. Soccer players are selected based on nominations and feedback from local coaches and the staff that covered the teams during the 2017 season.

Sacred Heart led the way once more and finished the season with a 22-3 record, won their fifth straight Seventh Region title, and advanced to the semifinals of the state tournament before losing to West Jessamine who won their second consecutive state championship.

Assumption went 13-8-4 and won the 26th District title and lost to Manual in the semifinals of the Seventh Region Tournament. Presentation posted an 8-9-1 record and lost in the quarterfinals of the Seventh Region Tournament.

Holy Cross had a historic season going 10-7-3 and won a regional game for the first time. The Cougars lost to North Bullitt in semifinals of the Sixth Region Tournament.

It was a rough season for Mercy failing to win the region for the first time since 2011 and finished the year with a 7-11 record and lost to eventual Sixth Region champion North Bullitt in the quarterfinals.
