Jaguars make college choices official

Mercy held its fall signing day ceremony at the school Thursday afternoon for five student-athletes, four who are going to Division I schools, made their college decisions official.

Danielle Feldkamp (Basketball) – Bellarmine University

Feldkamp has been an integral part of the Jaguar basketball program that has won a Sixth Region title, been regional runner-up, and made it to the regional semifinal during her freshman, sophomore, and junior seasons.

Neci Harris (Volleyball) – Furman University

Harris helped the Jaguar volleyball program win four straight Sixth Region titles and was state runner-up twice.

Lexi Ray (Softball) – Tennessee Martin

Ray has helped the Jaguars win two Sixth Region titles as well as two 24th District championships. Many consider her the best pitcher in the city.

Brenna Schoenbachler (Field Hockey) – Appalachian State University

Schoenbachler has been a part of the Mercy field hockey program that made it to three straight state tournaments during her freshman, sophomore, and junior seasons.

Lauren Tharp (Volleyball) – University of Kentucky

Harris helped the Jaguar volleyball program win four straight Sixth Region titles and was state runner-up twice.
