Trinity star wide receiver Rondale Moore just picked up his first of what’s likely many awards for his play this season.

Moore was named the winner of the 25th annual Paul Hornung Award, presented annually by the Louisville Quarterback Club to the best high school football player in Kentucky.

It was a fantastic season for the Texas commit as he finished the season with 109 catches for 1,478 yards and 16 touchdowns and rushed for 524 yards and seven scores and returned two punts for touchdowns.

Trinity went 15-0 this season and won the Class 6-A state title, its second straight.

Moore will receive the award at a luncheon set for Dec. 14 at Big Spring Country Club.
