Former Trinity wide receiver James Quick was picked up as a free agent Saturday after not being drafted in the first round.

Quick was a Mr. Football winner at Trinity and then went onto play for the University of Louisville where he led U of L in receiving yards (769) last year on 45 catches, averaging 17.1 yards per reception and hauled in six touchdowns.

At Trinity, Quick finished his career with a record 208 receptions and won Class 6-A state titles including a national title in 2011 as a junior.
