State track and field is this weekend

The KHSAA State Track and Field Meet is this weekend at the University of Kentucky Outdoor Track Facility.

Here’s a look at the LCSN individuals and relay teams that are ranked in the top three in the performance listing of their events.                

Class A (boys)

Holy Cross’ Austin Keen, Sam Bearden, Max Bearden, Bricklen Avdevich, Stephon Gilbert, Luke Davis,                Philip Mathews, and Nolan Siegrist are projected to come in third in the 4x200 Meter Relay.

Keeton Thornsberry of Holy Cross is projected to win the 1,600 Meter Run, come in third in the 800 Meter Run, and

Mario Convenuto is projected to come in third in the Shot Put and Discus Throw.

Class 3-A (boys) 

St. Xavier’s Tanner Boling, Eoin Corbett, Patrick Schaefer, Clint Sherman, Nick Poole, Andrew Edwards,           Ryan Guenthner, and Johnny Vaughan are ranked No. 2 in the Class 3-A 4x800 Meter Relay.

Trinity’s Rondale Moore is ranked No. 2 in the 100 Meter Dash.

Ahmad Johnson, Luke Mcguire, James Moore, Rondale Moore, Modu Sall, Samuel Slaughter, David Spalding, and Alex Wilson of Trinity are the favorites to win the 4x200 Meter Relay.

Jacob Dingle, David Spalding, Alex Wilson, Rondale Moore, Samuel Slaughter, Luke Mcguire, and James Moore of Trinity are projected to win the 4x100 Meter Relay.

Trinity’s Alex Wilson is projected to come in second in the 200 Meter Dash.

Trevor Warren of Trinity is projected to come in third in the 3,200 Meter Run.

Jacob Burnam, Ahmad Johnson, Samuel Slaughter, David Spalding, Philip Sullivan, Jacob Travelstead,         Alex Wilson, and Rondale Moore of Trinity are projected to come in third in the 4x400 Meter Relay.

Caleb Costin is projected to come in third in the Shot Put.

 Class 3-A (girls)

Assumption’s Sarah Michels is projected to come in third in the 3,200 Meter Run.
