Name: Madeline Meagher

Current school: Presentation Academy

Current Sports playing: Softball and cheerleading

Parish/grade school attended: St. Athanasius

High school GPA (optional): 3.9

1. What is your proudest athletic moment? My proudest athletic moment would be when we went into 15 innings against Manual my freshman year. We ended up losing but it was still a great game and we fought really hard and surprised a lot of people. Another close one would be when I robbed a home run from Sacred Heart my freshman year.

2. What is your ideal meal/snack before a game? My ideal meal/snack before a game would have to be either a granola bar or some goldfish.

3. If you were trying out for American Idol, what would be your "go to" song? If I were to try out for American Idol, my go to song would be “Jolene” by Dolly Parton.

4. Which athlete do you look up to on a college/professional level? Why? I look up to Jennifer Leonhardt. She plays for the University of Southern Indiana and she is an all-around good person. She always has a smile on her face on and off the field and she’s done great things in college. I’ve known her since I was little and have always looked up to her as a pitcher and a ball player. For professional, I look up to Derek Jeter and that's why I’m #2.

5. What is your favorite movie quote? “There’s going to be times when people tell you that you can’t live your dreams, this is what I tell them: never say never” – Justin Bieber, Never Say Never

6. How does your faith impact your approach to sports? My faith helps me to believe in myself in times that make it hard to do so. Sometimes I know I’m not having the best game but my faith helps me to rely on God to help me to  keep being positive and help me to appreciate what I have and that I can play the game I love.

7. What is your favorite cartoon character? My favorite cartoon character would have to be Elsa.

8. All-time favorite board game? My favorite board game would be Clue Jr.

9. Droid, iPhone, or Blackberry? Favorite app? IPhone and my favorite app is Twitter.

10. What is your favorite local restaurant? My favorite local restaurant is Roosters.

11. What is your favorite reality TV show? My favorite reality TV show would be Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

12. What is your greatest fear? My greatest fear is spiders, no doubt.

13. What is your best quality/characteristic? My best quality is how caring I am and my loyalty to my friends and family. When they need me, I’ll always make sure I’m there for them.

14. Favorite junk/comfort food? My favorite comfort food is mac and cheese.

15. What is your favorite hour of the day? Why? My favorite hour of the day is 3 p.m. because that's when I get out of school.

16. What is your nickname and how did you get it? My nickname is “Bieber” and I got it when I was in sixth or seventh grade because I’ve always been obsessed with Justin Bieber.

17. Where is your favorite place to volunteer/provide community service? My favorite place that I’ve volunteered at has been St. Vincent de Paul, it’s nice to know you’re helping out people directly and I’ve met a lot of nice people by volunteering there.

18. What is one hidden talent that you possess? I can pop my thumb back and forth, almost like in and out of place.

19. If time machines were real, and you could choose just one - to travel forward or backward - which would you select and why? I would choose to go backwards in time because I want to go back and relive my grade school days and restart high school. I wouldn’t chose to go forward because I’d rather not know what my future is like, and I’d rather be surprised.

20. If you could pick one person, dead or alive, and ask them just one question that they had to answer honestly, who would you pick and what would you ask? Justin Bieber and I would ask him if he would go to prom with me my senior year.
