A number of LCSN softball players have been named to the All-State Team in their respective classes. While the KHSAA doesn’t recognize the class system, the Kentucky High School Softball Coaches Association does when it comes to acknowledging their all-state teams.

Kameron Bowling of Holy Cross was recognized as the Class A Player of the Year and guided the Cougars to their third straight All “A” Classic Statewide championship.

Her teammate Ally Klein joined her on the first-team while teammate Dakota Young was named to the second-team and teammates Jennifer Peffley and Maddi Gailor were named to the third-team.

Mercy’s Lexi Ray was named to the second-team in Class 3-A after leading the Jaguars to their fifth regional title in six years. At the state tournament, Ray threw 557 pitches in 30 hours as Mercy finished tied for fifth place with East Carter.
