Louisville native Ben Rhodes seeks his third straight top five finish in the Camping World Truck Series in the Drivin’ for Lineman 200 Saturday night at Gateway Motorsports Park. Rhodes started from the pole in last year’s event at Gateway and drove his truck to a career-best second place finish.

“We have been knocking down the door for a win the whole year, so it's only a matter of time,” said Rhodes. “Since I have a good track record at Gateway, it looks like it could be a great weekend for us. This year we will put ourselves in a better position with pit strategy, and build on the speed we've had. Gateway is a close track to home for me, so winning with the family there would be an awesome feeling."

In his most recent outing at Texas, the Holy Cross graduate rallied to place fifth after a flat tire put Rhodes a lap down to the leaders. Rhodes currently ranks fifth in the CWTS points standings.

This weekend’s race also carries some extra significance for Rhodes’ ThorSport Racing team. Tuesday marked one year since a fire destroyed ThorSport Racing’s headquarters in Sandusky, Ohio. The building is now rebuilt and the team continues to thrive.

Race coverage begins at 8:30 p.m. on Fox Sports 1. Fans in the Louisville area are invited to attend a watch party at Roosters on Preston Highway starting at 8:30.
