1. What is your proudest athletic moment? My team played Scared Heart in the regional finals of my freshman year. During the game, my coach asked me to take a PK… I hit the post. When the game went into overtime and into a PK shoot out, my coach asked me if I wanted to take a PK. Even though I had missed one earlier in the game I said yes despite my fear of missing a second one. I ended up making it.

2. What is your ideal meal/snack before a game? A banana and peanut butter crackers

3. If you were trying out for American Idol, what would be your "go to" song? Life is a Highway – Rascal Flatts

4. Which athlete do you look up to on a college/professional level? Why? Sydney Leroux, I think she is a very positive person. She is outgoing and hardworking. Sydney seems to have fun with life and balances being a mother and a pro soccer player very well.

5. What is your favorite movie quote? “Remember the fish? Take me home in a baggie, love me for two days, and then NOTHING!” – The fish from Cat in the Hat

6. How does your faith impact your approach to sports? My faith impacts my approach to sports greatly. Through my faith, I try to be the best teammate and opponent I can be. I try my best to play fair and clean. Off the field, my opponent is my friend, not an enemy. Kindness is a value greatly because of my faith.

7. What is your favorite cartoon character? Scooby Doo!

8. All-time favorite board game? Uno, even though it is more of a card game than a board game, it is by far the best.

9. Droid, iPhone, or Blackberry? Favorite app? IPhone. My favorite app is Spotify

10. What is your favorite local restaurant? Blaze Pizza

11. What is your favorite reality TV show? I honestly don’t watch reality TV shows, but I do watch a lot of Netflix during the summer. My favorite Netflix show right now is Scandal.

12. What is your greatest fear? Losing an immediate family member

13. What is your best quality/characteristic? I take pride in always being there for people when they need me.

14. Favorite junk/comfort food? Oreos

15. What is your favorite hour of the day? Why? 10 p.m. I like this time of day because I am fascinated with the stars. I am also a night owl so I feel like that is when I am most awake.

16. What is your nickname and how did you get it? Rie. My middle name is Marie so my family calls me Rie, Rie Rie, or Kennedy Rie.

17. Where is your favorite place to volunteer/provide community service? Americana is my favorite place to volunteer. I absolutely love kids.

18. What is one hidden talent that you possess? I can do the dance move the worm.

19. If time machines were real, and you could choose just one - to travel forward or backward - which would you select and why? I would go back to the 50’s. I would go back to this time because I think that the way everything worked back then was really cool, ranging from outfits, to school, to cars, to hairstyles, to music.

20. If you could pick one person, dead or alive, and ask them just one question that they had to answer honestly, who would you pick and what would you ask? Martin Luther King Jr. I would ask him how he thinks we could bring more equality and peace in our world today.
