The girls’ lacrosse season has hit the midway point as the LCSN teams prepare for next week’s Spring Break. Snow and rain has forced a number of games to be cancelled or postponed. Here’s a look at how each team is doing so far.

Assumption (2-4): The Rockets have losses to Ballard, Eastern, Manual, and Cor Jesu Academy (Mo.) and wins over Collins and Nernix Hall (Mo.). Assumption doesn’t play again until after Spring Break.

Mercy (1-0): Do to the snow and rain, the Jaguars have only played one game, and earned an 8-3 victory over Ballard. Mercy doesn’t play again until after Spring Break.

Presentation (0-2): The Toppers have been affected by the snow and rain too and haven’t played in almost three weeks. Pres lost their only two games to Collins and the Sayre School back on March 10th and 11th and don’t return to action until after Spring Break.

Sacred Heart (8-1): The Valkyries lone loss has been to Eastern and has wins over North Oldham, Manual, Collegiate, Kentucky Country Day, York (Ill.), Atherton, J.L. Mann Academy (S.C.), Lovett (Ga.), and the Westminster School (Ga.). Sacred Heart is off until after Spring Break when they will host their prestigious BraveHeart Tournament.
