NASCAR Truck Series driver and Louisville’s own Ben Rhodes will be back home and racing at his favorite track at Kentucky Speedway in the Buckle Up 225 on July 12th.

Rhodes, a Holy Cross alum, will be heading up the “All Rhodes Lead to Kentucky Speedway” promotional campaign. In the four weeks leading up to the race, Ben will be on a media tour promoting the race and recognizing and honoring First Responders.

“It’s great to be back home racing at my home track and to honor all of the First Responders that protect us and that are there when we need them,” Rhodes said. “And a special thank you to Campbellsville University – Louisville for being the presenting sponsor of this campaign.”

The four-week campaign will culminate on Tuesday, July 10th at Roosters on Dixie Highway with a fundraiser for First Responders.

“We are extremely proud to be the presenting sponsor of the ‘All Rhodes Lead to the Kentucky Speedway’ campaign and supporting one of NASCAR’s future superstars,” Mark Mann, the Executive Director of Campbellsville University – Louisville said. “Campbellsville University is in the business of creating servant-leaders through Christian Education and First Responders are the truest servant-leaders in our community.”

Ben is currently seventh in driver points in the Camping World Truck Series and will be competing for the championship. This race is even more special as Rhodes is driving a Ford 150 Truck this year and the Ford 150 is manufactured in Louisville, Kentucky.
