The Holy Cross football team cruised to a 42-0 victory over host Valley Friday night.

It was a dominating performance by the Cougars rushing for 225 yards and holding the Vikings to -6 rushing yards.

Luke Davis led Holy Cross (1-1) with 95 yards rushing and two touchdowns while Gavin Foushee added 45 yards rushing on two carries, Bricklen Adevich added 23 yards rushing on three attempts, and Chaz Geraghty carried the once for 18 yards and one score.

Adevich also returned a kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown to start the game.

Quarterback Jaren McDonald completed 5 of 8 passes for 100 yards and one touchdown and rushed nine times for 41 yards and one score.

Craig Thompson was the top receiver with one catch for 29 yards and a touchdown, Barrett Emberton had a catch for 29 yards, Adevich had one for 29 yards, Graham Carnes had a catch for 12 yards, and Davis hauled in a pass for eight yards.

Junior Perry, Brett Minor, and Jacob Jeffries each recovered a fumble for the Cougars.

Quarterback Charles Camp IV led the Valley (0-2) offense completing 7 of 10 passes for 95 yards.

Darrell Williams led the Vikings receiving corp with two catches for 51 yards and Solozono had hauled in two passes for 33 yards.
