Every Monday, LCSN Editor Conor Revell is going to pick a Player of the Week that shined on the football field the weekend before. He’ll also issue out helmet stickers to the top performer on the other three teams. If you have suggestions, email your nominations to crevell@catholicsportsnet.com by 9 p.m. Sunday.

Player of the Week

Jeffrey Sexton (St. Xavier)

The junior kicker hit both of his PAT attempts and two field goals in the Tigers 20-19 win over Central Friday night.

Sexton’s 30-yard field goal with 9:33 remaining proved to be the game winner while his long 42-yard field goal in the first-half kept St. X within one possesion.

Barrett Emberton (Holy Cross)

He returned an interception 75 yards for a touchdown in the Cougars 26-0 win over Paris.

Ryan Miller (Trinity)

The wide receiver caught six passes for 153 yards and a score in Trinity’s 38-10 loss to Naperville Central (Ill.).
