Trinity tops Madison Central



Trinity’s basketball team got off to a strong start and used solid defense throughout while cruising to a 56-46 victory over 11th Region powerhouse Madison Central on Friday night before a crowd of about 700 in Steinhauser Gymnasium.

The Shamrocks (17-4), who are No. 4 in the Associated Poll, led 9-4 after one quarter and extended that lead to 23-13 at the intermission behind seven first-half points each by Christian Thieneman and Raymond Spalding.

Trinity held the Indians to 6-of
