St. Xavier alum Justin Thomas has opened a lot of eyes and impressed many during his first few months playing on the PGA Tour.

Thomas is currently 28th on the 2015 money list having made $664,986 and finished tied for 17th in the Waste Management Phoenix Open this past weekend.

He’s ranked as the 84th best player in the world and 26th in the FedEx Cup standings.

It was the third tournament Thomas has played since the New Year. He came in sixth at the Sony Open in Hawaii and seventh in the Humana Challenge.

The former Alabama golfer has played in eight events that have count towards the 2015 rankings. He missed the cut in his first two events, placed 71st at the McGladrey Classic, tied for fourth at the Sanderson Farms Championship, and came in 23rd at the OHL Classic at Mayakoba.

Thomas will play in the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am this upcoming weekend. The first round starts Thursday.

This is Thomas’ first season playing a full PGA schedule. Last year Thomas placed fifth on the Web.com Tour.
