The Assumption, Holy Cross, and Mercy softball teams are ranked in this week’s Kentucky Prep Softball Top 25 Coach’s Poll.

Mercy is No. 9 with a 10-2 record and went 3-1 this past week with wins over Webster County and No. 18 Boyle County and lost to No. 6 McCracken County (Lexi Ray did not pitch).

Holy Cross is No. 11 with a 12-5 record and went 2-2 this past week with wins over No. 8 Apollo and Eastern and lost to No. 1 Scott County and No. 13 Marshall County.

Assumption is No. 22 with a 12-7 record and went 3-2 this past week with wins over No. 12 Central Hardin, Manual, and Christian Academy and lost to Alabama’s No. 1-ranked Sparkman and No. 5 Madisonville-North Hopkins
