St. Xavier’s volleyball team won their 11th Kentuckiana Boys Volleyball Association Tournament title in 12 years including their fifth straight beating DeSales 25-21, 25-11, and 25-18 this past Thursday in the finals at MidAmerica.
"This is a great accomplishment for a very experienced team,” St. X head coach Ward Lotz said. “I am very proud of how they were determined to finish their season strong.”
The Tigers beat archrival Trinity 25-10, 25-18, and 25-16 in the semifinals.
Alex Walsh, Robby Cox and Cole Campisano were named to the All-Tournament team.
